British mezzo-soprano Kathryn Rudge performs throughout the UK and internationally on opera, concert and recital stages. Liverpool born mezzo-soprano Kathryn has been a friend of the choir since it was formed in 2006 and became Vice President in 2010. She featured as The Times “Rising Star of Classical Music 2012” and as the Telegraph “New Face in Opera 2013”. She completed her studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in 2011 with a BMus (1st class Hons), PGDip& International Artist Diploma and immediately became an English National Opera (ENO) Young artist. She made her critically acclaimed professional opera debut with ENO as Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro) in 2011.
