Wirral Community Choir

 “Together in Harmony”

We meet at Wallasey Village United Reformed Church, which is by the Lighthouse pub, on Thursdays from 6.30 to 8.30.

We would like to invite new members, female and male voices to join us. If you would like to come and sit in on a rehearsal, contact us, details on Join us page. That way someone will welcome you when you arrive

Wirral Community Choir is a choir of about 50 voices from most parts of the Wirral with a wide ranging repertoire from the lighter music side of choral singing to Sacred Music via Rock and Musicals. The Choir has gained a reputation for the excellence of its singing and concert programmes. Our venues have included the Concert Room at St George’s Hall, The Philharmonic Hall, Wallasey Town Hall, Liverpool Anglican Cathedral and many Churches around the Wirral.

Choir is back and singing with a few changes. Nick Hardy has gone to sing at the Royal Opera for the next year and we have two temporary musical directors. Kate Rooney is with us until November and then Alison Davis until July 2024,

Our first concert of the season will take place on 16th December at Thornton Hough Parish Church. This is on behalf of Wirral University Teaching Hospital. We will have more details nearer the time and tickets for sale.

If you would like to attend one of our concerts you will be able to buy tickets from Jeanette. Details below.
